The project involved the improvements to the existing Saluda River pump station. This project required an assessment of the pump station to identify the potential for failure, the extent of refurbishment, a by‐pass plan and a detail design for improvements. Our task on this project involved the civil site design improvements at the pump station and the access to the pump station. We prepared drawings and specifications for the site plans, yard piping, grading and paving, drainage improvements, and demolition.
