The project included the identification of new locations for approximately 5200 feet of 8 inch and 6 inch water lines, fire hydrants and appurtenances; the evaluation of fire protection for the area based on location of fire hydrants and adequate pressures; and the possibilities of looping the system with the existing 24 inch water main on Meeting Street and the 16 inch water main on Spruill Ave, thus eliminating any dead end lines. The project involved producing the design and specifications, permitting, biding, and closeout documentation.
