CCSD Facilities Maintenance

Atlantic South was responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of architectural and engineering projects. This included supervising the work of architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors and ensuring the smooth operation of their daily activities. Our duties encompassed overseeing the quality management of building and site-packages and working closely with third-party inspectors for parking, landscaping, and road improvement companies. Additionally, we were tasked with generating daily reports, meticulously reviewing submittals and RFIs, and coordinating project schedules to ensure a smooth and efficient process flow with subcontractors and vendors. Our team also played a crucial role in reviewing proposals for cost control and overseeing the configuration management for system integration and functionality.

CCSD Brownstone Capital Projects

At Atlantic South, our team was responsible for leading and managing a wide range of architectural and engineering projects. This encompassed overseeing the work of architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the seamless operation of their daily activities. Our duties extended to supervising the quality management of building and site-packages, as well as working closely with third-party inspectors for parking, landscaping, and road improvement companies. Additionally, we were tasked with creating comprehensive daily reports, thoroughly reviewing submittals and RFIs (Request for Information), and coordinating project schedules to ensure a smooth and efficient process flow with subcontractors and vendors. Our team also played a critical role in reviewing proposals for cost control and overseeing the configuration management for system integration and functionality.

University of South Carolina SALK

Atlantic South collaborates with a project manager from the Facilities and Maintenance Department of the University of South Carolina SALK to supervise project management for USC Salkehatchie campuses located in Allendale and Walterboro, South Carolina. The duties of Atlantic South entail defining the scope of work required for the project, reviewing and managing the A/E scope, conducting pre-bid meetings, holding pre-construction meetings with the contractor, attending weekly or biweekly OAC meetings on the owner's behalf, and ensuring that accurate meeting minutes are being issued to all parties. They also ensure that the A/E responds promptly to RFIs and processes submittals without delay to progress the construction and visit the site at least once a week to inspect the construction's progress. Projects managed include signage and library updates.

College of Charleston

Building Envelope Renovations

Atlantic South is working closely with a project manager from the Facilities and Maintenance Department of the College of Charleston to take on the responsibility of overseeing and managing projects at the Charleston campus. Their main tasks involve clearly defining the scope of work required for each project, carefully reviewing and managing the A/E scope, conducting comprehensive pre-bid meetings, organizing pre-construction meetings with the contractor, and representing the owner at weekly or biweekly OAC meetings. It's also their responsibility to ensure that accurate meeting minutes are distributed to all relevant parties, oversee the timely response of the A/E to RFI's (requests for information), process submittals promptly to prevent any delays in construction progress, and conduct weekly site visits to inspect the ongoing construction progress. The projects they are managing specifically include building envelope renovations.

Atlantic South is working closely with a project manager from the Facilities and Maintenance Department of the College of Charleston to take on the responsibility of overseeing and managing projects at the Charleston campus. Their main tasks involve clearly defining the scope of work required for each project, carefully reviewing and managing the A/E scope, conducting comprehensive pre-bid meetings, organizing pre-construction meetings with the contractor, and representing the owner at weekly or biweekly OAC meetings. It's also their responsibility to ensure that accurate meeting minutes are distributed to all relevant parties, oversee the timely response of the A/E to RFI's (requests for information), process submittals promptly to prevent any delays in construction progress, and conduct weekly site visits to inspect the ongoing construction progress. The projects they are managing specifically include student housing and building envelope renovations.
